Spacious units with a huge balcony that goes around. The location is stunning, being next to a creek, overlooking the valley and in the heart of France! 🌿

The location was perfect, to GR footpath, with a wonderful view. What's more, it was close to the stream, gardens and terrace and a scenic valley. Superior queen room was newly renovated. The food was good and there were a wide range of dishes in the menu.

The staff here were super nice and really looked after us. We reserved a newly redecorated romantic room with a big cozy bed and a lovely balcony through the internet and we got exactly what we wanted. It was a great setup, we loved it! 😊

excellent dinner menu; ample breakfast choices. The hostess was most gracious. The location in the Vallee Des Cousins was beautiful. Good choice for anyone planning to visit Vezelay
I wacked my head on a roof timber in the bed room when I was unpacking and turned to answer a question from my wife. Difficult to find Rte 427 sign when coming into Pontaubert from Avalon. We had to stop and get help from restaurant staff in Pontaubert.

It was beside the river in a beautiful national park and was very peaceful.
Nobody spoke Engish so it was hard to communicate; the wifi did NOT work anywhere, the hotel was 4 km out of town and there was nowhere close by to eat on the Monday because the restaurant was closed.

The location , beautiful scenery, quiet but still in manageable distance of a bigger town. The friendliness of the staff who tried their hardest to make our stay enjoyable ! And it was
Room took a very long time to warm up ( they turn off the heat when the room isn't occupied , I assume) we are from California and the weather was rainy and damp when we were there , not a good combination!.

In this venue, the peaceful ambiance is set in a fantastic location close to shopping outlets, a mall, and Disneyland, nestled within the Cousin valley.

Location perfect, just short drive, out of Avallon. Staff and service wonderful with fabulous food at restaurant.
Rooms on small side with firm mattress. No tea/coffee facility in room.

The location, staff and food were excellent. The meals were outstanding, the staff solicitous and the location delightful. We were lulled to sleep by the sound of the river.
The hotel décor was somewhat dated. It would have been nice if the plumbing had been upgraded to 21st century standards and thicker towels would have been appreciated.

The food was delicious and the wine waiter was pleasant though the wine was overpriced for the quality.
The room was up four flights of stairs. The bed was exceptionally uncomfortable. The reception staff was unwelcoming and most of the serving staff were unfriendly and showed no interest in our table.

Location, comfortable, room and a good restaurant. Overall a very pleasant stopover.
Owners very pleasant but reception staff member was, upon our arrival, sullen and not at all welcoming. We felt as if she was doing us a favour!!
